@volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip@stefan It really is, but I didn't even consider it at first because in my mind it was still this resource-intensive hog that would probably run at 2 FPS.
I'm using the Raspi as a music server! 
I put the touch screen on my desk between my regular screens and keyboard to show me information about the current playback and let me control it. The music server is mpd so I could also control it from my computer and smartphone, but it's nice to have something more permanent.
