I'm glad AI wasn't a thing yet when I was younger. My motivation for learning programming was that I wanted to develop cool software for myself. And my motivation for learning graphic design was to make my software look good, have a nice website etc. I hate relying on others, so I wanted to do all these things myself.
If AI existed back then, chances are it would've taken away that motivation because I could've gotten results with the push of a button. It makes me wonder where I would be today and if I would even be the same person. Both programming and drawing shaped my life significantly and are a big part of who I am.
