If that's how you want to handle it, then that's fine.
To me, this isn't a matter of wanting to call myself nonhuman. As I said, it doesn't make a difference to me. It's rather a matter of deciding if calling myself nonhuman would align with my values. If it doesn't, there's no point in doing it.
