I'm always interested in how people solve harnesses on dragons as inspiration for my upcoming comic (any day now, I hope

). But a lot of art has "plot holes". Sometimes the wing membrane is barely connected to the body, which makes the harness easy to design but the wings kinda dysfunctional, and other times any complicated aspects are just handwaved away.

But that part I attached? Where does it go around the body? Behind the wing membrane? No. In front of the membrane? Also no. I can't see anything to anchor it and that means it wouldn't work.
