Here's the updated pose. This time he's lying more on his back, with the lower body twisting further to the side. The left arm is still resting on the ground, but points upwards.
I think this make more sense for multiple reasons:
- The membrane going from the thumb to the shoulder pulls the arm upwards. With correct proportions the wing would've also collided with the leg, so that solves this problem also.
- This drawing is supposed to be a post-TF wakeup scene, so the pose should be as unchanged from a resting pose as possible. With the old one, the character already had moved around quite a bit to get the right wing out of the way. Here, the wing is already out of the way by default.
It also looks more dynamic when the body is twisted like that.
