I finally got it. I have no idea how people can dump whole paragraphs of lore about their characters, I just can't do that at all. It's not like I haven't thought about all such aspects, but I do much better showing them visually through my art rather than with words.
@emmy If I say replica, I also mean access controls. Does this mean, at your work you don't test with production data? That certainly seems like a bad idea to me as well
Even I know that your test environment should be a replica of the production environment, and not just a bunch of random datasets. And yet I bet this person earns 100 times more money than me.
Nothing humbles you like telling your OpenClaw “confirm before acting” and watching it speedrun deleting your inbox. I couldn’t stop it from my phone. I had to RUN to my Mac mini like I was defusing a bomb
@varbin@morgunkorn It's on hold because running a comic turned out to be way more complex than I thought. (At least if I want to get it right, and I do)
@morgunkorn Yes, but that feels more appropriate in a longer description. I want to write a summary to give a quick overview of the character. A text like you'd see in a character selection screen. I checked what others write in their ref sheets and even with feral characters it's stuff like "he's part of [organization]", "he has [special ability]" and "he likes to [read/listen to music/...]" and other characteristics that are too human.
The issue is that Volpeon is just an animal living in the mountains. There isn't some deeper lore, he doesn't have special abilities, and the only "hobby" is maybe exploring. Areon is a more direct representation of me so it's basically writing a summary of myself.
