In 1.117 (public rollout started 4/22), we changed the setting default to all. There was a bug in the code that was not found in testing that attributed non-Copilot code completions to Copilot.
AI@zvavybir I agree that we shouldn't discard techniques just because they appear a lot in LLM writing. I used em dashes way before they became cool, so I know the pain. But in this case, there's more after the description I quoted that has this LLM smell. It's the way they apply these techniques that makes me hate reading many texts produced with them, not blind hatred. It's too much, used in ways that feel off, with little variety.
I remember reading about fooling AI image classifiers way back in 2017 or so. It's now 9 years later and children do it with drawn on mustaches. Amazing.
My Kobo Clara BW has been the best purchase in the last 10 years and I haven't even started reading proper novels yet (just stories that seemed interesting from Royal Road and such sites).
