The reason why hashtag soups will never stop being a thing is that they aren't constrained. This makes them very flexible because unlike with e.g. forum boards you don't have to formally create them first, but you can also never know which ones the "main" tags are because there are endless possibilities.

Work had some network issues and now Windows freezes for a solid 5 minutes before showing the screensaver (which is then an error that the slideshow couldn't be loaded). Now I'm restarting it, and it's been sitting at the restart screen for 5 minutes now. Truly the highest quality OS.
