Ported most of my website to Corvos and ran a build from scratch. Very good time considering how much downloading from Strapi it does and that all images are converted to 3 formats and resized with an additional 2x version for high-density displays.
I changed it so the response is only written into the cache if it's fresh. Now it sits at 56mb. Shouldn't Deno overwrite old entries in the Cache for the same URL/Request?
@grunge_fox Eh, they usually work and only stop doing so when my RAM is filled up like this and the terminal suddenly crashes and refuses to start again
@catraxx I wonder if it's a memory leak in a driver. There's no process in the process list taking this much memory, and Mesa behaved the same way when it had a memory leak.
I finally solved the last big problem with my SSG: handling page data. The way it works now is that you tell Corvos in the config what data pages can have, and if you choose a field as type discriminator, you can easily get the full page data by just doing e.g. page.data.type === "art-item". This way, I don't even have to list all the fields a template accepts, just the type is enough.
Something fills up my RAM and causes programs to crash and refuse to start even way before its actually full. Icons in the Gnome UI disappear as well. Super annoying
