@inderix They once used AI to generate an image of a git workflow. That's right, a fucking diagram anyone could make in 5 minutes. It was obviously full of weird mistakes.
@privateger@gabboman Yeah, a lot of people here think that the current state of things is just the way it has to be and any alternative approach is wrong. Like how there must be instances encapsulating one community. Some people outright freaked out when I suggested possibilities that are different (not even by pointing to Bluesky, just general approaches).
Google's AI overview really incentivizes just taking whatever it spits out at face value because in people's minds it takes away the bothersome task of researching and checking facts.
I'm so burnt out from emojis, trying to move :areon3N: from Affinity V3 to V2 is already pissing me off because anything beyond basic shapes is prone to being illegible (especially at Mastodon's pathetic 16x16).
