Also it's often like "omg it's a dragon, we're dead" and in that same anime "look it's a wyvern, let's kill it". Dragons aren't inherently better, they just have a less realistic anatomy baa

I swear wyverns weren't that popular in anime 10 years ago. I'm not complaining (except for the fact that they are usually killed drgn_cry_loud )

@Dragon We're talking about a setup I've had for a decade at this point, when I also went through different glasses. It all checks out to me because focusing on something close is more taxing for your eyes than focusing on something far.

Changes the thing
"Volpeon, this user is confused because the thing is different now"

??? Okay? You wanted this change so you explain it to your subordinates?

If a platform really insists on using threads over a high character limit, it should at least add the "🧵 1 / 9" thing automatically in the UI instead of relying on the user to know in advance.

Maybe it also has to do with me prioritizing comfort over anything else. I notice that people seem to care about real estate, whereas to me being able to read and identify things easily is more important.

I always spent a lot of time on the computer. I used to keep my screens closer to my face, and I'm sure I would've used a smaller UI if that had been a thing back then.
But over the years, I noticed how exhausting it was for my eyes and gradually adapted my setup to fix it. I moved my screens further away, kept the UI large enough, and started adjusting the screen brightness depending on the light conditions in my room. The most recent change was automatic dark/light mode depending on the time of day.

As a teenager I often used to have headaches, and I'm sure my computer setup prior to those changes played a role in this. I'd argue it's the same for a lot of other people who chalk those signs up as inherent to using computers, something they can't fix.
