Why is Windows Update so slow, I just don't get it. "Downloading - 5%" since 5 minutes, and I know it'll be stuck like this for at least 30. I could do a full Linux system update 20 times over during the time Windows is downloading and installing one.
As a general rule: I always try to approach software topics from both a technical and a regular user perspective. Just because I know nerd stuff doesn't mean I'm fine with functional UIs that may let me do anything, but are bad to use, because guess what: usability is a fucking nice thing to have and I don't see why only "normal" users are allowed to have that. "uuh who cares about dumb normies, I can use this just fine 🤓" Fuck all the way off into the sun with that attitude. How dare you make people think I might be like that.
