I'm critical of Mozilla's overall direction, but the AI master switch is fine. It's not perfect, but it's miles ahead of all the other companies who just do things without asking while lying in your face. Don't forget who the real assholes are. Leaving them alone "because we can't expect any better from them" and attacking those who "should do better" (while already doing better) sends the wrong signal.
Yeah, I'm happy with this. I already had a full solution to load posts from both platforms and merge them into a unified timeline and the page got way too long. There's also the reality that people would rather see and interact with replies in their favorite app instead of my website where they can't really do anything, so links to the original posts are plenty.
@Vulpes_Veritas I use Affinity Designer. It's frustrating because the whole Canva situation really makes me nervous, but Inkscape's UI is just so lacking compared to it.
I can't do the automatic troubleshooting of the network connection on my work laptop because on Windows 11 it's a DLC. (It says I need to download an app for "ms-contect-support" links, but it won't find any)
