They still use Webpack and all sorts of loaders and stuff. Want to upgrade? Good fucking luck finding the right combination of older package versions that might work together. Sometimes it's easier to rewrite the whole thing from scratch with Vite and Vue 3.

Old Vue projects are a nightmare. Every time we need to edit an old project at work, we can't even run npm install because oooh no, this peer dependency is wrong and ooh no, the Node version is too new, and when you switch to an old Node version with nvm suddenly it's too old for other packages. Fucking trash ecosystem
