If you want to relive the past with browsers all having their own quirks that you need to fix with weird hacks, just use shape-outside on an <svg> element

The spec for shape-outside says images will be scaled up. Chrome just doesn't feel like doing it.

Use shape-outside with <svg>
Works perfectly in Firefox
Chrome fucks it up
Use browser's viewport tester
Firefox lets me scroll when it's too tall for the browser window
Chrome doesn't. I just won't see what's going on at the bottom half.
Chrome does not deserve to be number 1

What browsers are doing is clipping the objects first, then applying the anti-aliasing on each of them.

What they should be doing is rendering the objects in the masked layer, then clipping and anti-aliasing that result.

It's really annoying that browsers use very dumb anti-aliasing for SVG masks. If I have a masked layer with overlapping objects, then the colors of all objects overlapping will bleed through along the mask's edge. It looks shitty as fuck.
