Please be aware of birds sitting in the courtyard.
They're (mostly) fine, but they're drunk as heck and need to rest.
I frogor I had withheld a git update on my server because it messes up my repos. They must be accessible by a group instead of just user and they made some checks more strict so everything fails with "dubious ownership". And again, that was not a problem before. It worked just fine. And none of the advice out there about how to set up a shared bare repo fixes it.
