@Forestofenchantment Aah, I see. I never encountered this error when I ran it, but "_build" sounds like temporary stuff so I guess it should be fine to delete

@Forestofenchantment I'm not sure what compiling means in this context, but I guess? drgn__w_

@pebble @sirlan @ChlorideCull Ooh, I already stumbled across your website recently when I was browsing webrings and links. It's really well-made, I like it a lot! drgn_happy

@sam I want to add the afdesign files instead. You can still access the high-res files on the old website in the meantime neofox_boop

I edited the post to be less mean. It's just frustrating because he calls me every day, and usually, when testers tell me about the problems they've encountered, I understand how they happened and what to do to improve the UI.
Not with this person. I literally have no idea how to make the UI more clear.

When I save all entries in a loop one after another, it works. Is it too much data? I will never know since this behavior is fucking undocumented. baa

@irina Yeah, I normally would be more understanding if the setting was different. It's also such a drastically different experience from my other projects with testers who also weren't that computer literate, but who knew how to find solutions on their own. Sometimes they came up with absolutely horrendous workarounds, but at least they tried and I knew what to do. neofox_lul
But here I'm kinda at a loss.

It's frustrating how often he calls me about matters that are easily solved with some thinking.
I mean problems like "I added a filter to check if a value exists, but it doesn't work", but instead of choosing the "Value exists" filter he used the "Value equals (something)" filter with an empty string for (something). It never crossed his mind to try the other one, even though they're right next to each other in the menu.

Someone with zero knowledge about computers is testing my latest work project. He requested a search feature for a list. I asked "but isn't searching in the browser good enough?" He didn't know. He didn't know you could press Ctrl+F to search for text on any website and he said he'd put it on a memo for his colleagues. Ctrl+F.

@emmy Yeah, and this works fine for assets and pages. But those ZIP files are implemented via endpoints which can run any code to generate any kind of resource, and so there's no caching for them out of the box. At least I guess that's why.

Building my website now takes significantly longer than with Hugo. I expected that, and to be fair, generating stuff like ZIP files for my emojis used to be a separate process that's now handled by Astro.
But it could be faster if it didn't re-generate the same ZIP files on every build.

@jeder @privateger @novenary That was the most likely explanation I found back then. The alternative is that it corrupted all on its own which makes it even less trustworthy to me woozy_baa
