My instance getting spammed had one good consequence: I noticed that I was using a VPS tier that gave me way less resources than a slightly more expensive one. So for an additional 2€ per month I got twice the RAM and CPU cores
@colinstu So far it's been running well for me. Its built-in web interface is still far away from being a daily driver for me, but it gets updates with each release. I use a standalone version of the Chuckya (fork of GlitchSoc) web UI, which compared to vanilla Mastodon has a different design and support for emoji reactions: iceshrimp.dev/kopper/Chuckya-fe-standalone
