@crowdagger It's in fact both because the Iceshrimp.NET code only checks <a> elements as far as I can tell

I can't get my website link verified, even though I now added a "rel=me" to the link in the footer. That's weird because if I'm reading the code correctly, that should work. neofox_think

@raccoon Just the way communication is handled and the impact it has. Discord is instant, messages will basically cease to exist after a while because they get buried, which incentivizes shorter messages and more shallow discussions. Microblogging is near-instant with mostly the same consequences, but at least it doesn't feel entirely pointless to write longer texts if the platform (fedi) allows it.

I tried to branch out my presence by joining other places, but it simply isn't working out. I can't deal with the instant or near-instant communication paradigm of many modern platforms. I'll stop bothering with them and focus on places I can handle.

Arktype makes recursive types super easy, but the disadvantage is that their evaluation by the TS compiler is so slow I have to restart the extension host all the time to get it unstuck

While Firefox remains the core of what we do, we also need to take steps to diversify: investing in privacy-respecting advertising
We already had that. It was static banners placed on websites, chosen by the server according to the website's content rather than any user data.
