Cool, another weird software thing at work

max_date(all datasets) = Jul 25
max_date(some of all datasets) = Aug 01
max_date(datasets that weren't in call 2) = Jul 11

How is it possible that the maximum date in all datasets is calculated to be earlier than in only a subset of all datasets????? The call doesn't involve anything fancy, it literally just takes an array of Date and returns the latest one.

Today, I tried to replicate a glitch in Lego Island I found as a child. I used a jetski to get outside of the map, and what I remember was seeing the island repeated around me about 6 times or so.

Well, today I managed to get out of bounds, but all I saw was the map moving away from me. I wonder if it's the result of using WINE, or if I'm misremembering. But it's actually a pretty clear memory because I desperately tried to replicate this phenomenon, but I never could.

I found Sonic as an alternative, does anybody know if it's any good? All I need is throwing in product data every night and running search queries to find relevant products.
