Once Meta reaches that milestone [AGI], it could weave the capability into its suite of products — not just social media and communications platforms, but also a range of AI tools, including the Meta chatbot and its AI-powered Ray-Ban glasses.
Not even an if, but a once, like it's a given they will achieve AGI even though the tech hasn't really improved on a fundamental level since it became popular. Like sure, they run on weaker hardware now and made some small architectural adjustments and train more strategically. But LLMs still require more training data than the entire fucking internet contains, they still make shit up, they are still unpredictable, and they can still be ""hacked"".
I mean, this pose already covers 80% of my character (big reason why I chose it) and all the ref really needs is another view for the back. That's good enough for most purposes
I have no other explanation other than "Tim Cook liked this concept and wanted it exactly like this, no more discussion" for the Apple design because there's no way nobody saw the myriad of problems with it
It's funny, i thought about doing a theme for my website that follows the old UI aesthetics (old as in Aero, not as in Windows 95). And now Apple of all things beat me to it.
The only time you can pull something off like Apple's new design is on your own website where you have absolute control over the layout and what's displayed (by ensuring very specific positioning, smooth backgrounds etc). A computer or smartphone is pretty much on the opposite end of control, even if you're Apple.
