@dragonarchitect It would be nice if you could assign an equivalent set of Unicode emojis to custom ones, so Mastodon could have a mode displaying those instead. Like could be 🐲❤️
@dragonarchitect No I already got that, but Mastodon's size is so unreasonably small that I can't fully accommodate it without killing any creative vision. There's only so much you can do with 20x20
This morning I woke up 15min early and fell asleep again. My brain saved me from oversleeping by giving me a super weird dream which in the end involved being in an area where small insect/spirit things were jumping around in the air. They didn't freak me out somehow, but the weirdness of it woke me up.
@sun Maybe they could've gotten away with it if they had taken their sweet time to get people to rely on them. But the whole AI industry dove into the technology way too early, when it's still unreliable and expensive to run, so now they have to speedrun the VC playbook in order to survive.
@sun Internet providers get away with it because internet is an essential service at this point. Cursor and others are just cool gadgets. Having no internet is crippling, but having no AI assistant is not a big deal for most people.
