It's a bit puzzling that her true form is a cerberus, as in a three-headed dog, and she's a cat otherwise. But it's not a complaint, cerberus is awesome, and I'll take anything over human anyway
I don't care about lightweight website rankings because a lot of people just rip everything out until only the bare essentials are left — which don't necessarily translate to the best experience — and then go "huehuehue, my 10kb text-only website so awesome". But I am proud that mine only weighs 500kb uncompressed despite containing visual media and without compromising on usability and accessibility.
I realized I can finally add the site footer to the emoji pack page! The reason why it wasn't possible before is that the left side had a different background color and took the full height. Adding the footer meant either cutting off the sidebar – which looked bad – or placing the footer in the content area with the emojis – which looked also bad.
@pandro It's been so long that I have no idea where the project is on my computer. What I do remember is the project that served as the starting point: github.com/seenaburns/dex-ui
I'm a fan of the genre "sleek and elegant UI/product concepts which are actually completely impractical in practice". I once tried to replicate the Tron Legacy computer UI as an OpenGL application and even wrote a full GPU-accelerated terminal emulator to be the center piece. It had an audio visualizer, CPU usage graphs and a 3D cube visualizing a Perlin noise plane which communicated nothing of value at all. But it looked cool.
