re: on recent twitter AI controversies@stefan@pixel Maybe it isn't, rationally. But if you're emotionally attached to a place and still feel a lingering connection to those people you keep interacting with, it can be hard to let go. I think if you minimize your activity to a PSA like this, that's fine. It's still better than actively participating and being another factor keeping the place alive for others. If I only made posts like this once every 3 months, surely you'd feel I'm effectively gone, right? I'd still create a pull away from the platform.
re: on recent twitter AI controversies@stefan@pixel I get the feeling of wanting to make such a post at a place you stopped liking. It's not like you lose anything by doing it. Best case, you change some people's minds; worst case, nothing changes. But at least you tried.
@igwigg Don't go for the cheap no-name ones. That's what I bought first for 30€ and it had really annoying problems, especially with the keyboard just not working all of a sudden. I went with a KVM from TESMart for 190€ next and this one has been working perfectly. Looks like they released new models since then and the one I own is now 130€ only on Amazon: geizhals.de/tesmart-4x1-hks0401b2u-a2692914.html If an older model is good enough for you, you'd probably strike a good deal.
The year is 2026 and prompt injections remain an unsolved problem (which would've killed any other product in the bud btw, but for some reason money people love mediocrity when it comes from a computer who is good with words)
And also an update to :areon3N: to use a larger head and hopefully that makes them more readable. Still wish I could find a color that is "gray, but with more saturation that doesn't just turn into another color"
