Who cares about usability and accident rates when you can just put a tablet instead of physical controls in the car and save another fraction of production costs? (At least I assume that's the reason, otherwise that's just plain stupidity)

My post now was prompted by a complaint about typing quirks. It's really just another variation of the exact same situation we see over and over again on here about using CWs, using alt text etc.
But will this situation ever be fixed? No. Nobody ever challenges the base assumptions of microblogging. At least not in a way that has lead to results thus far.
